You want to know something about me, well, I can understand it. My family story is a typical saga of the European Jewish diaspora . My German born parents, had to flee Germany because of Nazism and were lucky to be granted an immigration visa to Argentina . For one decade they lived in the countryside area till they moved to Buenos Aires. I was born and brought up in that beautiful city but when I was a teenager they decided that the right place for Jews is Israel. Since then we live in Jerusalem. I was forced to graduate school in Hebrew which was extremely difficult as my mothertongue was Spanish, then I joined up the I.D.F, Israely army, as all boys and girls in Israel do. After my two year service term I got my B.A. degree in History at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem . Then, I decided to became a tour guide and that is my profession for the last 31 years , and still enjoy it very much. I guide in German, Spanish and Portuguese, sometimes also in English, groups and individuals. My husband, Edgar, who is also a guide and has a similar history, he can be seen together with me in the enclosed picture.
